The 10' Walnut Table
This table is made from two beautifully figured reclaimed Ontario Black Walnut slabs. It is a book match table. The voids are filled with black epoxy. The two leaves are 2’ long each making this 6’ long table extendable to 10’. The black powder coated V-style base is made from 3”x6” steel tubing and 1/2” steel plate.
All hardware is fully recessed and secured using Murakoshi fasteners and threaded inserts. The leafs are engaged using black powder coated extruded aluminum channels.
The table has been finished with Rubio Monocoat and topped off with three coats of ceramic increasing the wood’s contrast and rendering it hydrophobic.
